PENTATONIC scales are scales with 5 notes. They are two staple Pentatonic Scales- Major and Minor Pentatonic.

Pentatonic scales have immense potential for building melodic ideas. These are used widely in many guitar-centric genres such as Pop, rock, country, blues, funk, RnB soul, and even jazz. They are the heart and soul of great guitar players like Jimi Hendrix, Cornell Dupree, SRV, JM, Brad Paisley, Matteus Asato, and many others. It can be used not just for creating solos but also for rhythm guitar by playing fills between chords and also for creating riffs. Unfortunately, most guitarists just learn the scale patterns and play a bunch of shreddy patterns but are unable to make music out of it.

So in this workshop, I will teach you how to create beautiful and fun phrases using the MAJOR pentatonic scale without wasting too much time on the patterns - in 5 steps- This has a short theory section, techniques, the 2 sliding patterns, melodic sequences, phrasing secrets and lastly followed by 50 practice licks divided into 10 fairly challenging exercises with slow down, tab and backing tracks in 2 keys-C & G major.

At the end of the course, you will have stock phrases and a bucketload of ideas that you can add to your improvisation. So without any further ado let's dive further into it.
